A chef at a Michelin three star restaurant recommended they we visit this s place when in Zurich. We had an excellent weiner schnitzel. Everything we had was good, from the bread to the desserts. You will need reservations.

In March 2017, I wrote a very negative review of my dinner experience at the Kronenhalle and, consequently, gave them a very low rating. On April 25, I returned to the Kronenhalle for dinner and my experience this time was exceptionally good. Everything from the attention and professionalism of the service staff and the quality and presentation of the food was extraordinary. We were there for a special occasion and the restaurant made it all the more special. Well done, and my negative review of a few years ago stands corrected.

High end did restaurant in Zürich with an amazing display of original masterpiece artworks on display.
The food is premium and generous.

Do you have his as well? You reserve in a well known restaurant. From the photos you can see that it looks great, lively and beautiful. You arrive and the maitre d tells you follow me, and you think here we go again. And indeed after a long trip through the nice bustling restaurant you are escorted to the second floor which is mostly empty with some lost people. Food was good standard swiss food. Good but way overpriced, even for swiss standards. Service very professional but impersonal. After 1 1/2 hour and 290 franks lighter, back on the street. Will be more creative with my restaurant next time and very specific were I want to sit.

I visited the bar for the first time. Very old-stylish, very British! I felt like being at the Clipper’s Lounge, at the good old Mandarin hotel in Hong Kong!

A lovely experience that brings you back in time. Good Gin and Tonic, accompanied with three sets of snacks, all well served by white jacketed waiters!
