A typical Swiss restaurant located in one of the old part of Zurich. The dishes are fairly priced for Zurich and are very good. From the different Rostis to the Jumbo Cordon Bleu (for big appetite), this restaurant is to be recommended. Service is great and friendly. Late service.
Becareful only cash accepted.

Nice little bar and restaurant. Food is good and reasonable. We tried the Feldschlosschen beer at 6.30 CFP a pint which was very good. Nice location, close to the river.

Rheinfelder Bierhalle is an institution in Zurich - a very down key place where students, bankers, tourists and pensioners meet alike-

The food is hearty and consists of classic Swiss dishes (Cordon Bleu, Sausages...). We usually order the Jumbo Jumbo Cordon Bleu which is legendary for its size and taste. It comes with a complimentary salad. Also other dishes like the Bierhallen-Eintopf (one pot with schnitzel, cheese, spaetzle, bacon, mushrooms) were always tasty and are a good choice.

At times, they seem to be a little understaffed so service isn't always super fast or super friendly, but we go there for the food and beer, not to be caressed. When looking for an easy, uncomplicated place to have traditional swiss food, I recommend this place over similar, more known places in Zurich.

Great food, nice price! Our friend wanted to eat a traditional dish from Zurich so we suggested "Kalbsgeschnetzeltes zürcher art mit Rösti" thinly sliced Veal with hash browns. Which very good the hash browns were perfect, the second was "Kalbsleber mit Rösti which Wilson loved. Services was very friendly and the price was very good for Zurich. It is a small restaurant so if you are a large party call and reserve.

We had lunch at this restaurant while in Zurich. Delicious schnitzel and beer for a reasonable price.
