We were attracted by the variety on the menu, including some twists on the old staple of steak tartare, even though the restaurant is a short distance away from the main routes through the old town. We were rewarded with generous portions of good and creative food that was full of flavour. Service was unobtrusive and the pace of the meal seemed deliberately leisurely, which suited us perfectly; although we were provided with everything we needed as soon as we asked. The only downside we noticed was that it was hot inside the restaurant, but that seemed to be a theme throughout Switzerland's eating establishments on this visit.
