One thing to realize and quickly get over is the price, as everything in Zurich (As in all major cities in Europe) is expensive. My wife and I only had one day in this beautiful city, and it was not enough and wish we could have stayed a minimum of 3-4 nights. With that said, we wanted to experience a traditional Swiss/German meal and we were recommended this restaurant. It was very busy, so highly recommend a reservation and unlike in the US where you have you own table, you will find yourself sharing a table with several people as we did not mind as we had a chance to meet other people from different countries. The meal was unbelievable, hearty, and delicious. Make sure to try the bread, but is an option as its already on the table so if you do not plan to eat it, don't touch it. Unlike in the US where bread is provided for free, its not in Europe. We had the pork shank with potatoes and it was to die for. Our waitress was kind, funny, and was very helpful with guiding us with the traditional plates, etc. When we visit again, we plan to eat here again.
