The charm of an old bistrot permeates everything, from the waiters' casual attitudes to the menu. I can&t say I was overly impressed, especially since it's slightly pricey, but it would be recommended for those going for a turn-of-of-the-century European experience.
The large bone marrow dish is a perticular specialty.

We were not planning to eat here but we were walking and it was pouring rain so we decided to try it. We had a group of ten and no reservation. They quickly got us a table and the food was excellent. I ordered the fish bowl. It consisted of clams, fish, shrimp, prawn, and other shellfish in a broth. It was delicious. The restaurant was very pricey but also very good. Beware if you order the apple pie for dessert. It is as big as a plate. Delicious!

Classic French Style Brasserie, with old world charm. Very comfortable and attractive. A great place for lunch. Their specialty is fish and they had an extensive menu to that.
I had a soup that was too salty and smoked salmon with all the details. The salmon was good but the bread was a little stale. Their house Ice Tea was wonderful. I highly recommend it.

Visited Brasserie Lipp for the first time yesterday after having always wanted to go in. We were 3 people 2 female and 1 male. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly but not overbearing. The maître'd was absolutely charming.
I had moules frites which I love and there aren't many places serving them at this time of year, I was not disappointed. Delicious food.
The prices here are typical for Zürich and even if people find it expensive, if you want quality you have to pay for it. Also, it's not easy to find a good restaurant open on a Sunday in Zurich.
After dinner we went up to the bar on the 11th floor for a drink and to enjoy the view and that was absolutely lovely too.
We will definitely be back and will bring out English and German visitors here.
