We stopped here on a Saturday night, we had already had dinner so were just looking for a quiet drink before heading home for the night. The waiter immediately switched to English when he heard us speaking English amongst ourselves, which I always find nice, despite the fact we all speak more than acceptable German! He was very attentive and more than happy to advise on what was good and therefore a must order! We were overwhelmed with the amount of gin on offer, simply ordering a G&T is not such a simple task. We opted for the 'safe' option of Hendricks, but the waiter let us sample the very unusual Saffron Gin they offer. I'm not used to drinking gin straight but it was very delicious and something I would consider having next time.
We started off outside, but moved inside once it got a little chilly. I would describe the interior as shabby chic with some sort of Victorian feel to it, it's interesting, but I didn't find it over the top.
Drinks are well expensive, but the service is good, the ambiance good and the variety on the drinks menu mind boggling! I would like to come back and have something to eat here, but after glancing at the menu you would be lucky to get out of dinner for two for 100CHF, with one drink included.
