“My namesake, had to be good!”
Reviewed May 14, 2014

Lovely little art deco café serving a range of sweet treats like waffles, pancakes, ice cream as well as some light dining options. It is situated close to all the other dining areas in the university quarter so it is perfect for a change of scenery after your main restaurant. We had some drinks and dessert and the quality and service were great. If we would have stayed longer I would have happily returned!

“Great French food”
Reviewed April 12, 2014

Two of us ate lunch of warm goat's cheese salad and a nicoise salad. The nicoise came with rare seared tuna, anchovies, olives, egg, green beans and plenty of them all - a little different to a traditional nicoise but delicious. The warm salad came with a round of grilled goat's cheese on melba toast with a large portion of mixed salad and salad veg - also delicious. Reasonably priced, large portion sizes, pretty interior, nice place.

“Great French food in Switzerland”
Reviewed November 10, 2013

We arrived in Zurich on a Sunday and found much to our dismay that all shops and many restaurants were closed. But where a door closes....a delicious French bistro window opens! Chez Marion is a quaint little bistro and we were delighted with our food. A bit pricey, but what is not in Zurich?

We started with salads and they arrived with two glass bottles of absolutely delicious homemade dressings - one similar to ranch, one that was mustard based. They were soooo good that even after the salads were devoured we poured it on our bread (very thin...but yummy!) and could have eaten it alone. The quiche lorraine was also scrumptious, and their specialty, the galettes......oh, my. I had the forestiere -- a thin crepe like base with gruyere cheese, onions, mushroom and (non fatty) bacon with some creme drizzled on top. I wish I had another one right this minute.

Go. Just GO!
