There are a lot of small boutique hotels in Zurich but this is one of the better ones.
Very nicely situated near the river and with friendly reception staff, arrival was a pleasure.
My room, a "superior" one, was a cut above the normal boutique hotel offering - a large room with all the "trimmings". I really could not fault the room - maybe the bathroom was a little small but I could live with that. It had all the amenities that one comes to expect and was spotlessly clean.
It does not have a restaurant or a bar but there are dozens of eateries/bars very close by which are more than adequate and there is a small breakfast room on the First floor which serves a more than adequate hot and substantial international beakfast.
No other facilites and a tine two person lift, I'm afraid but that suited me ideally as I only wanted a nice room to sleep in and somewhere to have breakfast - it was a three day busines trip where not much more was required.
Its not a resort hotel and does not pretend to be but I really enjoyed my short stay - I have no hestitation in recommending it. Really friendly and helpful people.More
