Located on a corner, not far from the Crown Plaza, this restaurant offers a typical Züricher atmosphere with relaxed service. Although a very local place the staff speaks (Swiss) German, French and English. I went early when only few people were eating but around 8 pm the place gradually filled up.
Charmed by the friendly service and the menu (available in english on iPad) I decided to go for the calf's liver. An excellent choice which I warmly recommend to those partial to liver. The dish came with rösti and was a more than sufficient portion. I was promised some bread too, which I never got but did not miss for a second.
The crėme brulée was just a bit too runny but tasted perfect. Good food, no fuss, excellent WiFi! I had dinner at a reasonable price (there is nothing cheap in Zürich) and enjoyed it. The streetcar (lines 2 and 3) stops in front of the place and takes you to the city center in a few minutes.
