The staff bent over backwards to make rooms available for early check in (our flight from JFK landed at 8:00 am). Rooms are clean and comfortable, with a mini-bar, wardrobe, bed-side tables, a small desk and chair and a coffee table and a couple of chairs. Floors are wood.
The included breakfast is very nice, a typical German-style breakfast with cold cereals, yogurts, juices, cheeses, cold cuts, jams and a profusion of breads, rolls, and breakfast pastries. They make coffee, tea, and hot chocolate to order and will bring more if you are lingering. The coffee is strong and good, with steaming hot milk. On Sunday morning there was Prosecco!
Free Wifi works in the rooms.
We ate twice in the Latino restaurant on the ground floor. Very nice meals, Italian themed.
For Zurich, the value is good. But with the Swiss Franc in the stratosphere, nothing in Switzerland is cheap.
