The place is divided into three areas. On the ground floor you can buy a sausage plus bun or other quick bites and return to the buzz of the city, eating while walking around. For those that have five minutes to spare, there is anumber of tall tables. If you want to sit down and enjoy a glass of wine, go to the second floor where a full restaurant setup will cater to your needs.
The food in all three areas is simple but delicious, consisting of sausages, rotisserie chicken, fries, soups, salads, etc. In the restaurant the menu is more varied and includes daily specials; today I ordered Gerstensuppe and it was delicious. Should you go for one of the various sausages (upstairs and downstairs) do not forget to taste the mustard. Be careful as it is quite strong and really clears your head....
All food is fresh and very tasty. The restaurant offers water for free and as such, if you are able to dispense with alcohol, the bill is affordable.
Should you have the time, get something to eat and sit down to watch the locals, and visitors, stroll by. The nearby train station is worth checking out as it was designed by Calatrava...lots of concrete, but the ceiling is worth a look.
Enjoy and I hope this helps,
