Free wifi at this hotel does not mean unlimited. I stayed 3 nights but from the 2nd night I received the message "You have used up 130 of wifi". I don't know what 130 means and this is not informed in advance.

With Ibis hotels you know what you're going to get. This is a very basic hotel in a expensive city. One bath towel/person and nothing else. No safe, no fridge. But it was clean and comfortable after a day out in the hot sun. Was happy with it and the service. Would recommend for those looking for a budget hotel.

After a 25 hour flight from Australia, it was easy to find and leave our bags + change clothes before exploring Zurich. Easily accessibly with the tram stop out the front, quiet overnight and beds were comfortable with good wifi and substantial buffet continental breakfast for 6 francs (pre booked). Very good value and only 10 minutes from the hauptbahnhof and bahnhofstrasse.

Europe is know for its old and small hotel rooms. This one is a new building, but that was the smallest room I ever stayed. It would barely fits one person, but we were three. It was like camping with missing gear. Nothing inside, not even a dryer (no space, I guess). But, well, it is a budget hotel indeed. Location is ok, just a few tram stations away from Zurich proper.
