Stayed here on business and was very underwhelmed by the hotel. Very central location. Rooms are small enough and basic. But nothing wrong with them. Had basics you expect from a business hotel but feels very 1970's, think wood panelling and swiss chalet. The prices are ridicilous for what you get. Was kept very clean and have no real critisims of it. The check in staff are a little abrupt and are not very helpful. But not bad.

I have stayed here a number of times for work and it never ceases to amaze me how expensive this hotel is. For this reason, I usually prefer staying at the Seidenhof.

I would agree with the reviewers who say the hotel and rooms lack any sort of character whatsoever. Still, the rooms are big, comfortable and come with fantastic storage space.

Breakfast is nice but the hotel restaurant (and most of its communal areas) look horribly dated. Location is good, near the lake and close to Paradeplatz. The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to the Park Hyatt, with its cool lobby bar and restaurants.

All in all it's not a bad place to stay, but the price itself accounts for my dropping 2 stars on their rating.

Also, I don't understand why it says everywhare this is a Best Western Hotel when in fact it isn't...

The hotel is situated in the middle of Zürich and very close to Paradeplatz.

The hotel itself lacks charm, but is clean and tidy. Rooms are good size but soulless.

Breakfast buffé is so-so.

I like this hotel. I am travelling to Zurich for business and this hotel is clean, the room are of a nice size and the front desk people are really nice (not the case in all the hotel in Zurich).

The hotel is not close to the city, you have a good walk if you want to go to the shopping area of Zurich.

But the hotel is located near the lake and that is nice.

It is a quite hotel, but you will may miss the restaurants and noce places around.

By far, the best of BW I have ever been. Though the lobby is not much appealing, rooms are nice, spacious and sparkling clean with their new furniture. Staff are extremely polite and helping. Very conveniently located. The restaurant "Le Poisson" is definitely worth a try. Do consider this hotel for your next trip to Zurich!
