I'm a big fan! First of all, the architecture is really impressive. It was an old brewery and they kept the structure, adding new, modern and nice elements to it. The service ate the entrance could be honestly better, but anyways...
Make sure you save a bit more money (it's quite pricy - welcome to Zürich) and make the whole Spa package. You will have access to an exclusive area with body scrub, other saunas, relaxing areas, and more.
But if you just take the regular entrance for the bath, it's also ok, because for me the best part of it is going to the roof and relax watching the city and the sky. Once we went during winter, and it was amazing to be outside inside this warm water, looking at the stars. Highlights to the "silent room", where you can just lay (float) and as soon as your ears are inside the water, you can hear a really relaxing music.
The food (snacks) is fine (ok, nothing special), but for me too expensive.
Take a bathrobe with you (you can use theirs for free only if you go the spa), it can be quite cold when you get out of the water. And don't forget a 2Fr. coin for the lockers (you can change at the front desk as well).

My husband and I have just visited the Thermalbad & Spa. We arrived mid-afternoon and there weren't many people which was great (I see in other reviews it can be very crowded). I've visited quite a few spas in Switzerland and this one is different. The old brewery in which it has been installed gives it a really unusual ambience. I liked it - it's beautifully designed and perfectly balanced - each different area is not too big and you can move easily from one pool to the next. The only disappointment would be the outdoor pool, which is very small. We ate at the cafe - delicious food at a correct price. I would definitely visit again.

Expensive but worth every penny. But plan to stay for at least 2-3 hours. beautiful architecture, well organized lockers and fascinating and relaxing variety of Saunas, steamrooms, pools and baths. never too crowded as number of guests limited: if full you have to wait until someone leaves!Rooftop Jacuzzi pool is unique with a wonderful view over most of Zuerich. The Restaurant is cosy with good quality variety of dishes in typical swiss manor.
i cannot wait to return to show it to my family.

I went on a Tuesday, when they have a ladies only special. For a very reasonable amount of Swiss francs, you get access to the baths (a system of about a dozen different water experiences, from shower to hot tub to whirlpool to underwater music soaking, etc) as well as a mud pack and a mini massage. Add a glass of champagne on the rooftop deck & pool overlooking Zurich, and that is a lovely day, my friends. Enjoy!

I went to the Thermalbad because I was staying in the attached B2 Boutique Hotel. Via the hotel, it costs $25 to get in, which is discounted off the usual $55 rate. This grants you access to a rooftop jacuzzi (by which I mean a jacuzzi that takes up literally the entire roof--with 270 degrees views overlooking Zurich, wow!) and to the Irish-Roman spa, which are a sequence of baths and steam rooms that are housed in the barreling area of an old brewery. Very cool!

Two things to note: 1) All instructions are in German, so if you're not reading proficient on that, you may wish to speak to personnel for a bit of help getting around. 2)Also, to access it from the hotel, you need to go down to the front desk dressed in your bathing suit and hotel bathrobe/slippers (you can't bring your own towels/robe) to get the wristband that allows access.

I might not take the trip specially to do this, but since it was right there, it was definitely worth it to experience since it was right in the hotel.
