You are a 5 minute walk from Zurich central station on a quiet riverside location, another 10 minutes walk puts you in the heart of the old town or on the lakeside. The bar/restaurant was first class and our room was roomy and comfortable. There is also a rood top bar with decent views of the surrounding area, but not of the lake. A great place to stay and a change from the bland big hotel chains

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the 3rd or 4th floor, facing the river, not the street

Stayed here on recommendation of Zurich friend.Boutique Hotel with great atmosphere and sharp furnishings in rooms. The Hotel is operated by friendly bar /lounge staff who provided excellent service in a relaxed, friendly manner. The position of Hotel is close to the Central Zurich train station allowing for easy connections to Airport. Rooms were very comfortable and were not noisy given bar downstairs and proximity to tram and car traffic

Lovely little hotel. Extremely pleasant staff. Big restaurant on first and second floors serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's no gym, but you can do a lot of walking in Zürich. The staff goes home at night so the room key doubles for after-hours access. The restaurant is quite the night scene, but they close down around midnight. There's another very hip and trendy bar across the street. An easy walk from the the Zürich HB train station. I had a great time and want to go back.

Room Tip: As for a big room! I had a micro room, just big enough for the bed and bathroom.

Recently stayed for a night while in Zurich. This is a really cool hip modern hotel. Great location. Easy walk to old town and mass transportation like subway bus and trains. Rooms are chic. Good size for 2 people who will be out enjoying the city and not sitting in their room. Very clean and new. Nice amenities. Great for young or hip couples/singles used to urban life.

During recent stay in Zurich, came across this really nice small hotel, with a nice view on the canal. The price was moderate and the room even if a little small was cosy.
I recommend this place to anyone travelling to Zurich. Great shower. Downstairs there is a great bar/restaurant really quite in the day but gets busy at night with interesting people. From the station is a nice walk so don't need a taxi. From the hotel you would be close to the center for shopping or sightseeing.

If you're like me and like a little privacy from your work colleagues when traveling on business this place is a perfect choice. Take the reviewers advice and get a quiet room overlooking the river. And if you're flexible enough to go down and collect your own food orders downstairs you will find yourself in a perfectly decorated, quiet and cozy abode. I stayed here for about 4 nights and would do it again, when as was the case, the Widder is not available. The staff were incredibly nice and I enjoyed the funky feeling of walking through a bar in the evenings to get up to my room.

I've stayed here with my wife for a couple of times already and enjoyed the stay. There are very small and larger rooms. The rooms are clean and there is everything you need. Breakfast is pretty good. Location, as Zurich is small anyway, great. Staff friendliness depends on whom you are talking to, some are very nice and helpful, others a bit tricky to deal with and less friendly.

Recommended.
