1) no reception. This should have been the first sign for me not to stay here, but the cheap price lured me in.
2) the entire building smelled of urine, curry and fried food.
3) this should have been #1. The noise!!!! There are trains passing by every 30 seconds. You literally can't sleep because the trains make such screeching loud sounds ALL DAY!
4) The rooms were somewhat clean, but there were dust bunnies under the bed. As if the cleaning people never cleaned underneath the beds before.
5) the shower faucet could not decide if to pour hot water or cold water. But both at the same time never occurred.
6) the other tenants in the building had screaming children, were loud at all times of the night, and cooked the most oddly smelling food at early hours of the morning.
7) There is no air conditioning and no fans. DONT STAY HERE DURING THE SUMMER! OR AT ALL FOR THAT MATTER. THE CHEAP PRICE IS NOT WORTH YOUR SANITY.

Although this apartment is not in the city centre, the location is excellent. It only takes us a minute to the closest tram stops. The room was clean but there was no air conditioner so it was quite hot in the summer. We didn't cook but the kitchen facilities seems perfect and new. It was super noisy when every time a train passed by... so that's the pros and cons when it's close to the transport.

I stayed here in Jun 2018. I was attending a gig in Halle 622 which is just around the corner. It was super easy to get to - SR16 from the airport took 5 minutes to the station 5 minutes walk away.
Just had to enter a code at the door to get my key - simples!
The apartment itself was perfectly fine, bigger than I had expected in fact (I was travelling solo, could have easily have accommodated 2). I only had 2 minor complaints. One of the glasses I was going to use wasn't clean and smelled of booze -I don't really blame the staff for this as I assume a previous tenant did a bad job of cleaning it themselves and then put it away. the other complaint (again minor) was that there was no bottle opener. This was easily solved as there is a big COOP just up the street.
Overall, was very impressed at the price, location and ease of access.
