Description: The eCHo restaurant of the Zurich Marriott Hotel delights its guests with its creative presentation of modern Swiss cuisine. Only fresh, regional products are used to create the Swiss specialities. Guests can even have a seat and enjoy their dinner in an original ski gondola that provides space for 2 people. In addition to all of this, the eCHo is the proud owner of a cow living on the Hinterhuismatt-Alp, and the cheese is sourced directly from the local region. It is possible to enjoy the delicacies in an atmosphere which blends the traditional with the contemporary in complete harmony - a real Swiss experience.

“Top notch restaurant in Zurich”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

This was a great place to have a nice dinner with my wife. The staff are extremely friendly and all speak English. They are very helpful in the food selection process, as there are some local dishes which you shouldn't pass up. The hot stone with beef is excellent, the desserts are all amazing (as expected). The best part about the place is the CHF 69 deal with starter (soups, salads, or rissoto), a main course (beef, veal, fish, etc.) and a dessert (local desserts, chocolate, etc.) and ALL YOU CAN DRINK WINE from Switzerland. The restaurant is located in a corner of the Marriott hotel so not the easiest place to get to but worth it. Also the restaurant next door (Asian food) is great! For Zurich this place is very reasonable. Oh and reservations are available online.

“Great swiss food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2012

Located on the first floor of the Marriott next to the Thai restaurant. The hotel itself is a 15 min walk from the center of the city, the area not being very nice.

Food was excellent, for CHF 69 you get to choose any three courses of their regular menu, plus you get an "all you can drink" offer for swiss white an red wines of a wine bar. They replaced this offer with softdrinks for my partner without a question.

Very nice service. As we hadn't made a reservation and the restaurant was full we were told it would take about two hours to get seated. We took a drink downstairs in the very nice bar of the hotel and the seating-lady came downstairs to get us after a short while. She could have seated other people before us but was nice enough to think about us.

Reservation seems to be a must, especially on weekends.

“Delicious Swiss food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2012

This is not for the budget traveler but if you would like to try some authentic Swiss cuisine I would highly recommend trying this restaurant. We found the portions to be quite generous considering it is Europe. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also quite pleasant.
Plus, since staying at the hotel, this was a very convenient and cozy atmosphere after a day walking around the city.
Would happily eat there again!

“Zurich fine hotel dining”

The fixed menu with 3 courses and all you can drink was superb. The first course with deer sausage was excellent.

“Great value in an expensive city”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2012

We wouldn't nornally go to a hotel to eat, but we were going to be short of time to browse restaurants so we booked this restaurant on the recommendation of other Trip Advisor subscribers and asked for the ChFr69 menu. We weren't disappointed - a really good meal, including a good range of wines, excellent service and a nice quiet ambience. The bill with coffee and service was about £135, and we didn't realise just what good value this was until the following evening when we found that the going rate for a bottle of house wine in a fairly ordinary restaurant in Zurich was ChFr40.
