“Perfect fondue experience-Americans forget the melting pot this is different but very good.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2013 via mobile

Just ate there tonight. Raclette was delicious as an I found it similar to a hot Greek cheese. Served with boiled potatoes, pickles. Cheese fondue was delicious served with bread and potatoes only. $26 francs each does not specify on menu per person but it was. Had nice local wine and waiter was very friendly. Don't be put off by the ladies of the evening near by inside was cute and both couple sand families were there.

“still the best cheese fondue in town”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

the service was friendly and the cool Swiss white wine exquisite. Most foreigners are surprised to taste a Fendant du Valais which has nothing to envy their French competitors. It is said they are much too good for export, so the Swiss drink it themselves

“Disappointing......but in a pinch.....but really.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 31, 2013

They really should call this place Non Raclette Stube. Point number one: They are actually overly promoting cheese fondue, not Raclette. Point number two: What used to be a very authentic, cozy good food place is now a mediocre fast food place catering to tourists. Point number three: Raclette is a wonderful cheese dish prepared in a vary specific way. The cheese must be melted slowly with radiant heat. We were actually served a very salty raclette cheese that appear to have been fried in a pan..............please, do us a favour and stop denigrating a wonderful traditional dish. If you can't make it don't sell it.

“Excellent small atmospheric fondue restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 3, 2013

This is a great place to go in old town Zurich if you want an authentic swiss fondue. Staff are very welcoming and helpful and prices reasonable compared to others seen in Zurich. Would, and have reccomended this establishment to others.

“Cheese, cheese, & more cheese”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2013

This restaurant has a charming ambiance in the old part of town. As others have noted, the menu is very limited, basically offering cheese fondue or raclette. We had the cheese fondue made with 2 types of cheese and wine and it came with bread and boiled potatoes. It was very good, but got boring after a while. The service was excellent (different person from another reviewer as she was younger) with strong English. A pleasant experience overall.
