The classically Spanish paella at Real is abundant enough to make two meals for two people. The shellfish was excellent, and the flavoring of the rice was magnificent. They have an excellent wine selection to match, and a tasty dessert tray that is not to be found on the menu. The staff is quite pleasant and extremely attentive, and the restaurant is conveniently located near the Zürich main station.
There are two issues. First, even by Zürich standards the price is a bit high. With wine and a shared dessert, we didn't get out of there for under CHF 200. That also didn't include a starter. When you have a paella, you really have to think twice before having a starter. But we saw the salads go by, and were not impressed, which was the other issue. They should pay just a bit more attention to their starter menu.
