This is a quite authentic Swiss place. It is usually crowded, a bit noisy but the food is excellent. We had the entrecote on hot stone and enjoyed the whole experience, but apparently Restaurant Baeren is better known for their cordon bleu.
Two negative points: First, they are not open at all on weekends. Second, don't ever wear your best clothes to this place, you end up smelling of beef, even if you did not order it. Prices are in the usual range for Zug restaurants.
