It's a great place to stay if you like nature landscapes - one side of the building looks at the lake while the other one - on the beautiful steep slopes of Alps. My advice - better ask for a lake view, as mountains you will see anyway outside the hotel, but you might avoid street and train noise, as railway station just in front of the hotel (what brings another value if you're on a business trip and have to take the train every day). Rooms are modern, all room furniture and bathroom fillings were new and comfortable. Especially appreciated the shower - a huge shower head is my weak point. Staff was welcoming and breakfast was diverse and substantial.
The only thing that made me a bit upset when I entered the room - there were only 2 small windows, what makes a room not enough illuminated. But as I stayed there only over night and not every room has the same showers as was in mine, I decided to not allow this minor discomfort to spoil my stay in Montreux. If you plan to stay in a room at day time - don't hesitate to ask about the change.
I stayed there almost two weeks but no unexpected or embarrassing situations occurred so I can recommend this hotel as a nice place for a decent price.More
