The restaurant has a nice position in Trip Advisor's list for Lausanne. It was however disappointing for my lunch meal. Very average food. Pasta was ok, but nothing like Italy. The salad was ok but not better than the one you can get from supermarkets.

Eating here feels like eating at home. The owner Agnosto greeted us with a handshake and immediately brought us cocktails and an appetizer on the house! The food was cooked fresh and the portions are huge. And there was complimentary dessert!

Came here based on reviews as the highest-rated restaurant in the neighborhood.
Owner (?) was welcoming, warm and consistent. The place is really much more spacious and comfortable than we had thought from the look of the exterior. It's simple and pleasing.

The menu is sizable for a neighborhood establishment and t's more about comfort food than creative or modern-take of the italian-swiss dishes. The owner was very helpful, patient in translating into English and helping us. The only unique dish is perhaps the horse steak (medium rare), not uncommon in the region and many parts of Europe. It's bit tough and dense, like very lean beef. Salad and pasta were fresh and came in very good portion. The food are somewhat bland and do not reflect texture or taste of Italian. Prices are very high compared to other countries but about average in major Swiss cities. As a side note, from my 3 trips to Lausanne, my experience with restaurant often disappoints compared to Zurich, Geneva and Luzern. Buying food and wine from supermarket and dine in apartment often ended up more satisfying.

We are disappointed not to find the experience that a 4+ or 4.5+ rating should convey. For convenience I'd not mind to come again.

This is a small restaurant with great italian food and very welcoming staff. We were there for a birthday celebration and not dissapointed at all. Our waiter was especially nice to us and made us feel like we were in Italy.

The owner greeted each of our party of 4 with a handshake as new friends. He didn't speak much English but between French, Italian and Google translate we all had excellent dishes and in large portions. We finished off the meal with very good limoncello. It was the most expensive meal we've had in Europe (Paris, Switzerland, and Germany) but it was the best meal we've had during our travels.
