“Average food, average beer, rushed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2013

The food was average, the beer was much the same, the staff were run off their feet and you had the feeling that food was being thrown at you. They didn't seem to keen on single eaters. It is overpriced. I won't be back.

“An average chain store in Lausanne”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2013

You can fine Les Brasseurs wherever, and is just this... a chain store pub. The food is chemical, too salted and too oiled, the beers are okay, but overall the price is quite expensive and doesn't worth the quality.

“A bar”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2013

Loud, dark, a bit smelly. Good selection of beers, food was OK. I left feeling I could have done better - and my subsequent visit to Lausanne proved I was right.

“Nice big restaurant/ pub with slow service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 12, 2013

Good selection of food. Very noisy. Good for large group or friends who are loud. Try the meter of beer if you have a couple friends with you.

“Will give it a pass next time”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

This is centrally located on Rue Centrale/Rue Pepinet, easily accessible by bus, car, metro (Flon), and on foot.

The place is modelled as a pub, with wooden furniture, flat screen TVs, beer vats, and exhaust tubes decorating the ceiling. The place is very crowded and noisy (it would be difficult to hear others talk). Tables are also placed rather packed, so you seldom find a comfortable space. It is also quite likely that you might end up sharing a table with strangers- thus, you may benefit from making a reservation in advance.

The service truly needs improvement. We had to wait for a while to be seated (and later noticed), but this is hardly surprising since the waiters had too much on their hands. We also had to wait a while for our order. The house beer (the seasonal one was apparently quite potent. The food (chips and some supposedly exotic version of burgers and foie gras) was rather burnt to be point that it was inedible. We were rather disappointed and I doubt if I'd ever go there again.
