Do not expect anything complicated or hip. Trani is located on the scalinata that goes to the Cathedral in a special builiding that gives you the impression of being in a "Cantina" where they keep wines.
They do simple food with excellent ingredients. This time we had Spaghetti alla Crudaiola (with fresh tomato, mozzarella cubes and basil) and Tartar di Tonno (Tuna), followed by Grapefruit Sherbet (homemade of course).
What made the dishes special was the excellent olive oil used (from Umbria but the owner didn't share the secret).
If you like special preparations of vegetables like Pumpkin Flower, Artichokes, Truffles, Mushrooems.... you are definitively in the right place, and believe me, this is not easy to find anymore.
Very good wine selection as well, this is a very romantic restaurant as well for a date.
