“An Excellent Choice That Won't Break Your Budget”
Reviewed March 11, 2014

Your budget will hurt no matter where you eat in Switzerland; however, Ristorante Manora can help relieve the anxiety of the high cost of food in Lugano. Portions are abundant (the soup is always excellent). Pizza is a good option and is of higher quality than your regular Swiss pizza. The cafeteria style of eating means your budget won't be broken, and you'll be full after eating here. Skip the ice cream and find it across the street (across the front of the Manora). Look for Manora restaurants elsewhere in Switzerland, for excellent quantity-price rations. Look in Locarno, Lausanne, and Zurich.

“Good fresh salads and nice fruit cakes”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

This is a pleasant place to go to for a nice fresh salad (buffet with vast choice) and dessert. Food served is not the top of the tops so have avoided it but the pricing is good and the outdoor atmoshpere is convivial especially for families. Open all days if you are not looking for gourmet food this is the place to go to, especially for the salads and pastry. Affordable prices

“is a canteen, a fast food”
Reviewed January 8, 2014

is what is nothing more, it is self-service, there's plenty of choice of food, meat and fish, fruits and a lot of sweets, during the hours of lunch, there's too much confusion, so for a lunch unpretentious and little cost is ok.

“Open on Sundays, options for vegans”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

Buffet-style laid-back cafeteria, open late on Sundays. As a vegan I was grateful to come across this place because they had a few options for me. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. My minestrone soup was cold; my rice was burnt. A bit expensive considering the mediocre quality of the food. Good music though (Bat for Lashes, New Order and Blur played while I was there) and it was nice to eat in a relaxed atmosphere.

“Good Food for reasonable price”
Reviewed October 24, 2013 via mobile

It is a buffet restaurant with a lot if alternatives. I ordered a pasta with pesto and sea food. Take care because even the piccolo is big enough for 2, depend on 2 of course.
