We spent 3 nights in a "deluxe double" room. The room is big enough, decoration is ok although colors are somehow monotonously. Due to the hotel location, rooms can't have a very nice view. Equipment of the room corresponds with expectations of a five stars hotel (tee/coffee making facilities would nonetheless be great), also the room service which prepares the room twice a day and leaves it very clean.

Breakfast is excellent, in choice and quality, certainly one of the best we had in our great luxurious hotel experience. We didn't try the restaurants because one of the three was closed, the second was also closed two of our three nights, and the third one serves in the same big hall where the breakfast takes place, not enough charm and cozyness for us. The bar has a great choice but also corresponding prices.

Facilities of the hotel are great. On arriving, you get a public transportation pass allowing you to use most of the cablecars of the district. If you like hiking, St.Moritz and Engadine is definitly a good choice. The pool of the hotel is very nice and looks like a thermal bath, but could be small if the hotel is full (apart from the numerous rooms, the hotel also proposes residences, so I can imagine hundreds of people having to queue up within the hotel). The wellness area is very nice, we didn't try the massages but made use of the 6 saunas. Also the sport room is well equiped.

To recapitulate : the hotel deserves its five stars rating but you have to pay for it (restaurant and bar are somehow expensive, having to pay to parking is a shame). Personnaly I prefer smaller hotels, but could not complain about this one.

We stayed for 4 nights in the Kempinski and it was our first time in St. Moritz. The hotel is a beautiful old building. It is a bit far from the center of St. Moritz (20 min walk) but it is well connected. The hotel offers a bike rental service and it's worth biking around St Moritz since there are many biking trails and the scenery is incredible.
We received a deluxe room which was very spacious and clean. The gym was really well equipped and the spa offers many services, however we did not expect it to be a nude area.
All in all we had a pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was up to standard and all the staff were very helpful and attentive without being intrusive. All requests were dealt with immedaitely and to our satisfaction. The breakfast buffet provided a wide choice and would, I think, cater for most tastes. We tried one evening meal which was a buffet for Swiss National Day. Perhaps it is in the nature of buffets that it is difficult to keep food as if 'just cooked' and, indeed, the fish we tried did appear to have suffered from being kept warm as it was somewhat overcooked. We were with our dog who was made to feel very welcome (staff in the bar etc. always asked if the dog needed something to drink). Dog owners should not that being in St. Moritz Bad rather than in the Dorf itself, the hotel has a pleasant park in front of and behind it where one can exercise one's furry friend as appropriate. The spa centre provides a range of spotlessly clean and very pleasant saunas and a hammam. My only criticism would be that it was not possible to vary the amount of water on the stones as this was done automatically by a machine. Although we were not travelling with children, we noted that there is a fun looking adventure playground just outside the hotel, discreetly tucked away in the park. Rooms at the front of the hotel have the best views. All in all a pleasant stay in a hotel that lives up to its five stars.

The hotel is splendid. The spa is superb with at least a half a dozen saunas and relaxation rooms. Very clean and well staffed. Concierge provided good suggestions and directions, excellent location and service. I found the bar pricey with draft beer starting at 19 chf, but the ambience was well worth it (though I only had one drink). The breakfast is renowned (wish for nothing!) Their casino is popular among the locals for entertainment and inexpensive cocktails. There is so much to see and do in St. Moritz!
