..... charming family run hotel. Small (European) rooms - even after an upgrade. But the location was ideal and the view was amazing. Little on site "pub" overlooking the lake was fun relaxing after a long day of exploring. Especially loved being greated by the friendly family dog at the front desk. Would stay again.

When we booked we requested a lake view, you will not be disappointed. The hotel is family run and has a true Swiss ambiance about it. The breakfast is served in a lovely dinning room, and was very good. The staff was eager to give recommendations for dinning and knowledgable about the area.

This is an excellent family run hotel full of charm and quirkiness. The staff are just great, the food very good and the rooms spacious with excellent newly renovated bathrooms. Great location in this great town!

This hotel just bursts with charm of a not so far by gone era. The staff makes you feel at home immediately. We arrived after they had quite a lot of snow so the owner gave me his parking space. Not done every day. We had a lovely room with a view and I mean a view. Great vista over the lake and nearby mountains. The rooms was very clean, not the biggest, plenty of closet space and everything else one actually need. They have a real nice cozy Bar which can get quite lively when there is a rugby game on and all the Brits show up. For those that smoke, great news, you can enjoy here. Breakfast is served in a large eating hall and has everything one needs to get a hardy start for the day. We did try the restaurant one evening and it was a little disappointing. Average I would say but they do make a great onion soup and again very good service. This place is certainly recommendable, not far from town. One can certainly feel at home here. And should you speak Italian, bendornato a casa!

A very good value for price in St. Moritz centre. The rooms are a little old fashioned but very charming and I didn't miss a thing. Breakfast is large, good and in a huge turn of the century eating hall. Generally the whole hotel is very classy. My highlights are the lively bar, nicely decorated with impressive Cresta Run memorabilia as well as the direct access you will have skiing down from the slopes of Corviglia.

The crew is amazing, although not all of them speaks english, but as much as they serve you well, I don't really mind what language they talk. The breakfast is very good and the view from our room was jaw dropping. I remind us getting late to check in and at that time everything was dark nad we could not see a thing around the hotel. Once the sun started to shine we opened the curtains of our room and had an amazing surprise. Beautiful landscape! We just stayed on night so we could get the glacier express early in the next morning. I would certainly come back to this hotel.

Sometimes you book a room with a view and you get something in the distance through a small hole in the wall. This wasn't it the huge picture window and unbroken view to the lake and mountains in the distance was spectacular.

This is a proper Hotel, clearly well looked after but has real character. The lift is quirky and adds to charm just like you have walked into a Miss Marple film set. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.. I had a challenging travel question about the post bus that they weren't sure about. After a bit of discussion and sharing of details they were spot on about how to sort it.

The room was slightly old in design but clearly well looked after and clean. The breakfast room is hidden expanse, just keep going down the stairs.

Room Tip: Make sure you book a room with a lake view
