Outstanding venue, in a cave-like spacious room, with enough space between each table (in St. Moritz this is a real bonus!). The culinary experience is exceptional, one of the best you can find in Engadin, as everything is up to the 2 Michelin Stars if not better. Every dish is a surprise, for the quality, creativity, taste and presentation. On top of the menu of your choice, you are offered a number of additional small dishes from the kitchen, as well as sweet treats at the end of your meal. The wine list is also quite full and iinteresting.
The only thing that in my opinion does not match the overall very high level of this restaurant is the service: we were welcomed by a very young head-waitress, who wasn't able to explain the "menu" concept, reacted quite badly when one of our guests asked why it wasn't possible to order "a la carte" and in general made us feel quite uncomfortable. The other waiters were ok, but not at the level of professionality you would and should expect in a place like this.

The dreamlike atmosphere already starts when you get out of the cab and into the beautiful Giardino Mountain building. The powdery snow is lit by the flackering fire of torches. Very hearty welcome before you are led down to a room resembling a golden cave, where for the next few hours you indulge in perfectly prepared and innovatively selected best quality food, best accompanied by a "wine trip", where the sommelier selects a glass to go with each course.
We loved it, prices however are extremely high, so this unfortunately is not something we can afford to repeat anytime soon, but well worth saving up for!

The concept at this restaurant is you create your own 3-8 course dinner from an innovative menu of choices. Going there with friends, we decided to take a 4/5 course (I don't remember the exact number) and was delightfully surprised at the variety of ''additional'' small, almost trinket-style, dishes offered by the kitchen; amuse-bouche was provided between almost every course.

The quality, taste and texture of each dish surpassed all expectations, as did the presentation and the creativeness of the chefs, the thought which went to creating each dish with the chosen ingredients. The chef really lives up to the 2 Michelin Stars awarded him.
The interior of the restaurant was set downstairs from the main lobby and tastefully done up in a gold cave like atmosphere. There were very few tables, and the staff were friendly, attentative and very helpful.

Great service, excellent food, tasty and yummy.

very cozy and relaxed at this 5star hotell. The restaurant and Chef holds 2 stars in the red guide and he lives up to it, no question about that.

Went with chefs menu and had a faultless dinner with great technique and great flavours.
Diningroom staff was very nice and made me feel very welcome.

Best in Switzerland?
