We really expected something different, especially considering that we were in charming St. Moritz and this hotel was close to $300/night. This hotel is like a travel lodge from the 1970's except that it doesn't feel old. The room was large with a balcony, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom had heated floors, but it was very basic and like a lodge. The lift is very tiny, which must be funny in the winter when people have more gear. The hotel is totally without charm, but that is my only complaint. Breakfast was good and the location was excellent. You certainly need a shuttle from the train station, because it is an uphill walk, so call ahead to schedule it (hotel provides). We walked back to the train station ourselves because it is down hill. Tip: La Stalla restaurant is within walking distance and is excellent.More
