There is no coffee maker and no kettle or tea bags when i checked into my room. What kind of luxury hotel in St. Moritz that doesn't have such basic things?. Staff are super rude. There was a big stain in the bed and red stain on the towel in the room. Rooms are dated. Very little amenities in the bathroom. Again, very basic that suits a 2 star hotel. Breakfast is average. Found hair in the scrambled egg. The hotel is full of weird eerie masonic paintings. In brief, this hotel is low quality and a complete rip off.

Dear Rauf Baker
Dear Lynne Al-Nahhas,

We have taken note of above review and would like to refer you to the terms of use of this platform. You had written to our PR Dept. as a journalist to obtain a complimentary stay in return for a travel review for the newspaper Al Hayat about St.Moritz and the hotels and indicated you would like to experience the destination.
When arriving at the property we have simply asked you to identify yourself with credentials of such or have your editorial team write us from an official email address. Not being able to produce such credentials you have both left the hotel at once, without staying with us.

We have great respect for the journalistic profession and also for this platform to gather feedback from our real guests. As you have not experienced a stay at our hotel and above statements are factually incorrect and invented, we have contacted the content integrity team of Tripadvisor to follow this case further. As you know it is a serious matter posting fake reviews and has consequences.

We hope that you will experience our hotel or another hotel in St.Moritz to experience the beauty of the destination and the warmth and professionalism of its people.

kind regards

Year after year after year, it never gets old to be at the Badrutt's Palace Hotel.
Summer 2019 was our 10th+ annual occasion, and what a wonderfully fulfilling stay and experience it was again. From the moment we about to walked in till the minute we left it felt "paradise" and heaven at the same time. The people, the food, the suite, the service, the spa, Chesa Viglia pizza (super de luxe and delicious), and also all the other small(er) things the Badrutt's takes care of (without us asking) ... it is all very wonderful.
Do we need to say more?? BOOK!!

This amazing palace throws you back in time during your stay. The hotel resembles an extremely well maintained 19th/20th century palace. Hitchcock fell in love with it and returned 34 times. Everything seems authentic and contributes to an unforgettable experience. The spa is modern and features all you need.

If money is not an issue and you love the look and feel of palaces, this is definitely a place to try.

My family and I were initially hesitant to stay at this property because we prefer newer accommodations but we were not disappointed. First, the service from arrival to departure was amazing and warm. Second, we luckily booked the newly refurbished rooms which were perfect—I highly recommend them for anyone not into old style rooms. Finally, the location and views are unparalleled. The hotel is situated in the middle of the town but overlooking the lake—don’t miss the breakfast buffet—one of the best I experienced in Switzerland.

we went back twice this year to the Palace, we tried two different rooms: the lake view signature room and a superior room in the separate wing of the hotel upstairs the fine cuisine restaurant. the point is: whatever room you get the experience is unforgettable. this time we also used gym and spa pool. these are very spacious and well organised. if i have to find a minus for this hotel it is the Japanese restaurant matsuhita which compared to the original one and to some big city famous Japanese restaurant is not up to standard. food is blend and completely mispriced for people who are used to the Zumas or Nobus around Europe.
