“Cozy place to spend a evening with friends and family”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

It was friday night, that means a self buffet and self cooking on a hot stone. Good selection of different meat - kangoroo, yak, beef, pork, lamb, even crocodile. Fish, fruit, vegetables. Fine live jazz to accompany all these rituals.

Dear NO_Shu, many thanks for your review. Glad you liked the Hauser. Yes, every Friday during the whole winter season we are serving PIODA buffet, with all the meat, fruit and veggies. Of course with some fine jazz on the side. It is a big success! We do it now even on Wednesdays under the new title: SWISS Sounds. Same buffet with different music. Fun and delicious. See you again. “crowded bar”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

if crowding around lots of people in inflated suits is your thing, then come here. its bursting with people who dont know where the in-spots are. dont be one of them. Food is decent, but not worth the wait.

“Crowded but still a good place to have a drink or a snack”
Reviewed January 3, 2013

Hauser meets the needs of the hungry, very hungry, or just thirsty people.

Its food is hearty & the cakes are delicious. The service is fun despised being under great pressure.

“A must visit”
Reviewed December 22, 2012 via mobile

We visit St. Moritz every year for our ski vacation and Hauser is among our favourite habits. Great fondue, nice Aperol Spritz, cosy atmosphere, VERY friendly staff and many more. Not to mention the ROO BAR. An après ski stop for gluwein, music and socialising. Thank you guys, you've been awesome!

“We stopped here for afternoon tea”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

Seeing as it was the last day of the summer season most of the restaurants and hotels were already closed for a break. We came across this place, which has a cafe, in the centre of town. There was indoor and outdoor seating, no view but a good selection of teas and tasty homemade ice cream, milk shakes and tasty desserts. We enjoyed a slice of Engadine almond cake, a chocolate cream cake and home-made ice-cream. Service was quick and friendly. The prices were normal for Switzerland.
The lunch menu looked good but we were just looking for tea and cakes.
We'd definitely go back next time- I'm sure it'd be a good place to people-watch in the winter season as it's situated at the bottom of a road full of designer shops.
