“Venison ... delicious”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

Given the varied reviews we didn't know what to expect. Delicious! Went for venison ravioli and deer rump. Both fantastic, really nice. Way too limited a range of beers but terrific wine list. Dessert (profiteroles) let them down a little but the strawberry sorbet was fantastic, very refreshing. Coffee crap.

Dear Luke V, many thanks for your review. We are pleased that you liked your restaurant.
What other beers were missing. We serve local Bernina beer, did you get to try it. If not come back and ask for it. See you soon. All the best. Markus Hauser

“Beautiful dinner”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

This is probably the best dinner I've had while in Europe! Ravioli with venison and apricot in cranberry sauce. Just lovely. The strawberry sorbet wasnt bad either! Mains were CHF20-30 and deserts CHF10-15. Would definitely recommend here.

“I've never given a review this bad”
Reviewed August 31, 2012

I really hate to do it, but it was so BAD. It was late for dinner, almost 9 pm, maybe that was part of the problem?!?!?! There were 5 of us--and every single one of us disliked our meal and the service. Took a long time to get a drink. The pasta was terrible/uncooked and I did have to send it back. I had already gotten a "rude" vibe from the waitress and had a feeling she would give me a hard time...and she did. She said that this is how pasta is served so close to Italy. I'm from the NY area a place with some of the best Italian restaurants--I understand al dente. I said that in frustration, feeling like an ugly American, but give me a break. It snapped it was so undercooked. We ordered (at an additional cost) a curry sauce for our chicken--it didn't come--so we asked another waitress who by the time she came back we had been served the sauce (we were more than halfway done by then and the desperately needed sauce was not even good). She rolled her eyes and huffed. The chicken my husband and I had was an overcooked plain, dry breast. I thought, if they can't do chicken, I don't think anyone should ever order the kangaroo. EWWWW. I think the veggies were frozen, not sure. It was our worst meal of our 2 weeks of eating in Switzerland and Italy.

“Tourist tat”
Reviewed August 31, 2012 via mobile

Had rosti and it was dry and tasteless. Olive oil to dip bread in tasted like petrol. Wine was only ok if you held your nose. Paid £80 for 2 inedible courses and bottle of house wine.
