Price quality relation is fine, rooms were clean, beds are good. Bathroom a bit dated and not a lot space.
The quality of the food (evening) was bad. No salads, evertything too cooked, tatsteless. This was a disappointment. Even the fondue was not of quality.

The service is really good and the people are kind.
The breakfast is yummy. The rooms are big and there is nothing missing.

This hotel is on a very edge of Davos Platz, on the way out of town. It has a strange layout, lots of walking involved. The ski lockers are the strangest thing... located in the underground garage. Hard to get to from the room, then you walk out on the street through the same winding tunnel the cars go in, praying they don't come as you walk. The hotel does not ofer a ski shuttle. You must rely on public transport unless you drove. The most convenient mountain is Parsenn, reachable by bus from a stop across the street in about 15 min. But the hotel recommends you rent skis from an outfit at Jacobshorn, which is 15-20 min walk from the hotel.
Breakfast buffett was good and varied, even had a station to boil your own eggs. Dinners uneven, some really tasty, some not so much. Pre-paid dinners do not include tea or coffee. These are paid extra, which creates a cheap, nickle and dime atmosphere. Most days I would have gladly traded the desert included in the package for a cup of tea, but that was not an option.
Nice big lobby/bar area, good for socializing. Which is good because there are no apre skiing activities in this part of town.
The swimming pool is great, but there is no hot tub. There is sauna, but not in the pool area, I never found it. The strangest of all is the changing area. First, it does not have a hotel access, other than back through the pool, so you change into dry cloths only to walk back on the wet pool floor. Then, it's coed, with no secure spaces. Apologies to the poor guy I incidentally pulled the flimsy courtain.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in a wing close to the lobby, to avoid lots of walking.
