A real contrast to the hotel with which we were disappointed. We were welcomed in the restaurant by the Manager/Owner who, because of the heat, suggested we eat outside on the lovely terrace. He was attentive, knowledgeable concerning the local wine and ultimately set us up perfectly for the meal. We went for a simple salad to start then both had the "Councilmen's Platter" for the main accompanied by a lovely distinctive local Rose. The veal and beef were superbly cooked and it really was a wonderful meal. Table service was also good and we retired fat and happy.
