“A perfect spot to stop.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2013

We have enjoyed Paul's friendly service for years now.His cafe is always a " must visit " stop on our walk down from Kliene Scheidegg. The views are stunning and the welcome warm.We always ask for a sandwich..so fresh and tasty..but after reading the reviews,we will definitely be sampling his apricot tarts next time!Last year,Paul helped us to spot a herd of ibex.....The icing on the cake??!! :)

“Ask about Ibex & Chamois”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

A warm and welcoming retreat with delicious home baking and hot chocolate in a traditional setting. Large slices of Rhubarb or Apricot tart will encourage you to keep you picnic in your rucksack. Paul can also provide information on the latest sightings of Ibex and Chamois, both of which we saw on the spectacular slopes opposite his terrace.

“The best apricot tart!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

This small summertime cafe is always our first port of call when walking in the Jungfrau area. It is run by an energetic and friendly guy called Paul, all the food is prepared on site and is delicious. Eating his home made fruit tarts are melt in the mouth experiences, we have never found them bettered, that seems to be the universal opinion of all his customers too. Give them a try, you are sure to return for more!
