Came in September on a birthday trip for my sister. After reading several travel forums and TripA, and booking pretty close to our travel time, chose the Caprice.

I cannot imagine having made a better choice. The views are spectacular! The staff is outstanding! The location, so easy!

Aragon (sp?) and Carlos are so great. I have a gluten allergy and any cross contamination can make me very sick. They made sure that I got gluten-free biscuits with breakfast each morning. We were able to make dinner one night that was so delicious and again, the views make it hard to leave your balcony or the main terrace. With only a week in Europe, we almost extended our stay here to give up other sights.

I travel frequently for business and pleasure, work in hospitality and would recommend to anyone coming to Wengen or the Jungfrau region.

In terms of European travel experiences, the rooms are large, beautiful and the bathroom quite large. We could not have been more pleased.

I will definitely return - truly a magical trip. Thank you!

The most valuable part of every room at this hotel is the balcony -- I could sit there for hours and look at the magnificent view of the cliff-face mountains and the valley below. There's a cozy bar/living room on the ground floor, too, though it's the only part of the hotel with wi-fi.

Have stayed here multiple times. From the postcard view to the friendly service, I would reccomend this hotel to the most discerning traveler. I have visited in summer and winter - I can't decide what I like best. The breakfast is wonderful, the dinners are great, and there is so much to do. The hotel is located right in town and right next to the train stop. The staff always has wonderful recommendations and was very welcoming. The rooms are clean, well appointed, and the beds are so comfy! Can't wait until my next stay here!

Waking up to the views from this hotel is something truly special. The views are matched only by how kind and helpful the staff are - especially Carlos, who truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and welcome.

Had a fantastic dinner here one the deck overlooking the valley. One of the best meals we had in switzerland. Menu is small but everything fantastic. Common areas to hotel looked very nice and wished we would have stayed here.

Hotel Caprice is a real gem: a very special place with excellent service. This small boutique hotel helped us make our third visit to the Jungfrau area to be an amazing travel experience. The views from the hotel are awesome. Our hotel room offered the same superb views found from the terrace, in the lounge and restaurant. All offer the chance of being awed daily by the mountain views.

Hotel Caprice's service is outstanding: warm, friendly, and professional. Arrigon, the hotel manager, is a true professional and a pleasure to see during our stay. Carlos, who made all our food requests happen effortlessly, is the most charming man. Overall, the entire staff at the hotel are excellent.

I highly, highly recommend you eat dinner at Hotel Caprice's restaurant as much as possible. The food is delicious and the whole experience is lovely.

Waterfalls, snow covered peaks, green meadows...from my bedroom windows! And excellent food to go with that. We arrived at the hotel late the first night. Decided to eat at the restaurant. Was told that the kitchen is experimenting with a BBQ night ...oh, oh, we thought, but too late to wonder around for another place to eat. Boy, were we glad we stayed; the beef was amazing! From the chef, to the waiter to the manager, we got fantastic service. My four year old can be a very picky eater, but Carlos and Arrigon took care of him. Even introduced him to Rivella, which he asked for everyday...ok, maybe that is not so good : ) We felt so welcomed at the Caprice that while we were driving to Zermatt, my son told us he wants to go back...and we did, a week later. Called Arrigon, got a last minute booking and dropped Montreux from our plan and drove back to Wengen. We ended up staying a total of seven nights, having our dinners at the hotel for most of those evenings. Will definitely return. See you next June ?!
