We had the fondue, and it was by far the best we had in any wengen restaurant. The price is fair the service was superb and the owner even came by twice to make sure that all is ok and at the end even bought us a round of local schnapps.
Thank you

We didn't stay at the hotel, but we had lunch a couple of times. The service is terrible. One day we waited 1 1/4 hours for our food. Some of our party arrived a bit late asked for menus which never arrived. They gave up waiting and went elsewhere. I ordered a beer on another occasion and i didn't get until 1/2 hour after I had finished my food.

Fantastic hospitality and had a great stay. We arrived via train and the hotel is ideally situated accross the road from the station. We checked in and were shown to our room. We booked a room overlooking the Jungfrau which was amazing. The bedroom is set up as a living room in the day and at about 7.30pm housekeeping come in a make the sofa into a bed. The room was really spacious. The bathroom had hairdyer, bath and handheld shower. We booked bed and breakfast and each morning we went down to a selection of cold meats, cheeses, cereal, jams, dried fruit, crossiants, fresh selections of bread. There was also a toaster to make your own toast and an egg boiler to boil your own eggs.
We ate in the Eiger restaurant once as there are plenty of choices nearby. Would recommend the restaurant as well, good food and service.
The hotel has a bar but it was quite smoky so we took our drinks into the lounge which was cosy, once the receptionist saw us in there she came and lit the log fire and the candles which was really sweet of her.
We are def going back next year.

Our family of 14 members ranging in age from 7 to 72 had a wonderful time at the Eiger. We celebrated our 50th anniversary here and it could not have been a better experience. My husband and I have stayed here for over 20 years and could not wait to share it with our children and grandchildren. They loved it as much as we do. The skiing was was pretty good and all the activities surrounding Christmas were wonderful. We will return as often of possible and can reccomend it to any family looking for a positive experience. Excellant food and clean rooms with careful attention paid to all needs by Karl and his family and staff. The views from the rooms are awesome and the town is small and compact but has anything you might need. The hotel is convenient to the train station and the Co-op and yet it is quiet. Obviously one of my favorite places on earth. I am biased and I admit it.

Just had a weeks stay at the Hotel Eiger. Had a super bedroom with balcony overlooking the mountains, quite spectacular. Booked B & B and Evening meal. Evening meal consisted of a 5 course Dinner, presentation excellent, and very well prepared. The owner of the Hotel comes round each evening into the Dining Room to check if everything is o.k. and gives advice on things to do in the area. Reception Staff very helpful. Choose the Eiger Hotel and I don't think you will be disappointed.

We spent three nights in Wengen to have an advantage getting to the mountain tops nearby. We were absolutely delighted to enter our room the first time and find that our balcony faced directly at the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau peaks. When the skies are clear, this is the most beautiful view in the world.

The hotel is most convenient as it is right adjacent to the train station. However, that said, there was no disruptive noise at all. In fact, with the huge numbers of Asian tourists in Switzerland, it was fun to watch the tour groups assembling and dispersing at the station.

Our room was adequatley sized and quite nicely outfitted. We had two beds arranged as couches and a large balcony. The bath was average but very clean.

Breakfast was in the sunny, cheerful dining room and the food was very nice three-star fare. We ate in the hotel's restaurant in the basement twice because the food was excellent and the wait staff superb.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. On Thursday night, the owners hosted a drinks party in the lounge which was very enjoyable.
