We recently stayed 9 nights in the family run Beausite Park Hotel and only have praise for the welcome, rooms, service, location, facilities and food. The owners and staff made us feel welcome right from the start and they and their staff were very helpful and friendly. As an example we were asked straight away if we had any food allergies, we don't but my wife can become unwell if she eats nut pieces. Having mentioned this, her menu was always noted to show which dishes contained nuts and which could be made without. This took the guesswork out of ordering. It is this personal service and attention to detail which is evident throughout that makes this hotel special. I am sure we will return.

We stayed here for a week's walking in July, and really enjoyed it. The rooms were comfortable, well equipped and in good condition. The food was also varied and interesting; we did the half-board option, with an evening meal which was five courses (hors d'oeuvre, soup, salad, main course, dessert) with varied dishes. There was a menu of the day, but if there was some part of it that you didn't fancy there were alternatives on offer. The staff were very welcoming, available but not intrusive, and the location was ideal - two minutes walk to the village centre, but just on the edge so very quiet. There was a swimming pool in the hotel, not large but with views out through the picture windows of the surrounding mountains. Only small niggle was the bathroom shower - the temperature was sometimes unstable, but it wasn't really an issue. Tea-making facilities in out room were welcome, though not commonly found in European hotels.

Stayed for a week with my husband and adult son, all keen walkers. Before arrival the hotel couldnt have been more helpful with booking a rooms suitable for the family. The welcome was warm and personal with iced tea water and apples always available in reception. The rooms were clean and well appointed as you would expect for Switzerland. Even plug adapters provided and a complementary bar of Swiss chocolate.
The food was excellent, a set evening menu but with choices if it didn’t suit. The chef was clearly given freedom to be as creative as he liked and a tribute to a cucumber seemed an unusual food, but well worth trying all courses even cucumber sorbet were delicious. Breakfast included a wide range of continental and English options reflected a largely English speaking clientele. All was served by a friendly and cheerful staff backed up by the manager who managed to talk to all guests daily.
The hotel has its own, small indoor swimming pool which was a delightful way to relax and swimming pond, which looked good, but cold.
Even leaving had its surprises with complementary local honey to bring home.
All in all a good choice if you choose Wengen, would definitely choose again if in the area

Room tip: A mountain view is beautiful, garden views look onto a hill side, which is very peaceful

We had a really pleasant stay here in a room with balcony and panoramic view of the mountains including the Jungfrau. It is certainly worth having a room like this as it is a lovely view to wake up to! The room was comfortable and very clean with ensuite bathroom and separate toilet. The food served at breakfast and evening meal was excellent with good choices. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We liked the indoor pool and spa area. The hotel is located on the edge of the town but within easy walking distance of the station and cable car especially if you take the shortcut path between the fields which comes out by the cable car and Tourist Information centre.

Our family recently stayed at Beausite in June of 2019, we had a family suite and it was perfect for our family of four. Us parents had our own room with privacy and the kids had lots of room on their side. We also had a huge balcony which we spent lots of time. I can’t say enough about this hotel, except that we are already talking about going back and staying longer and exploring more of the area. The hotel was clean, updated and the staff were wonderful. We opted to add the dinner option and I’m so glad we did, it was amazing!!! Everything about this place was perfect, definitely a great place to stay!
