I knew that this was going to be a great place to stay as soon as Daniel met us at the Wegen Train Station. Nothing is too much for the friendly staff they made us all feel welcome. We booked a junior suite facing Jungfrau. The room was spacious, clean and indeed has a beautiful view of the mountain range. Sometimes the view will be shrouded in clouds but when they clear I challenge anyone to provide a more majestic view. The staff were all knowledgeable of the surrounding area explaining the best walks that all of us would enjoy. We booked two rooms in total as our eldest daughter is 18. The food in the restaurant was excellent with outstanding choice and at breakfast you could have a Chef cook (while you watched) you an omelette or eggs prepared to your own choice. The restaurant staff ensured you understood the 5 course evening menu and as our 7 year old daughter is fussy with food they made her feel so special creating her own favourite dishes every night. Our favourite evening in the restaurant was the Dessert Buffett with so much to tempt you. This is probably the best Hotel I have ever stayed in offering us the complete package. You can see why guests go back there year on year and we all cannot wait to return.

Room Tip: Junior suite facing Jungfrau. The room is spacious, clean and indeed has a beautiful view of the mou...

The Beausite Park was recommended to us by a friend. We were initially a little wary of travelling to Wengen as my husband is a wheelchair user and transfers from the airport are by rail. However, our fears were unfounded - Swiss trains run like clockwork and the staff were very good at helping us get on and off the trains.

The hotel itself did not disappoint either. We found Mrs Leeman and the managers, Denise and Daniel, very warm and welcoming. The hotel is located just off the centre of Wengen, which was ideal for us as we prefer a quieter location. The main entrance to the hotel was via several steps which was not ideal for wheelchair access, but we were shown the 'back way' in which enabled my husband direct access to the hotel and the lift via a flat surface.

We had booked a Junior Suite with a Jungfrau view, which I would highly recommend as the view on a clear day was absolutely stunning. My teenage son had a proper single bed set up in the living area of the suite which was separated from the bedroom with a door. Our balcony was a good size with two sun loungers, two chairs and a table.

We were staying on a half board basis and found the food to be of excellent quality; there was plenty of variety and the ingredients were sourced locally where possible. Breakfast was buffet style with breads, cheese, ham, croissants, cereal and a chef on hand to cook eggs to order, as well as bacon and sausages.

Evening meal was a 5 course affair with a starter, soup, salad buffet, main course and dessert. The restaurant staff were very accommodating and would happily alter or substitute things listed on the menu.

We used the large indoor pool, jacuzzi and the small gym, all of which were well equipped and clean.

I would definitely recommend the Beausite Park and will be planning a return trip soon. The only disappointment for us was the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the lack of a walk in shower.

Room Tip: It's worth paying the extra for a Jungfrau view.

A very nice hotel located conveniently at Wengen within 10 minutes walk from the train station. We booked a junior suite facing Jungfrau. The room is spacious, clean and indeed has a beautiful view of the mountain (if weather permits). The hosts Denise and Daniel provide attentive services which made our stay very enjoyable. We will definitely choose this hotel again if we visit Wengen in future.

Fantastic management, staff, room, food, facilities & situation. It would be impossible to overpraise anything about this establishment. From the moment i arrived i was treated more as friend than as guest.Restaurant manager was very friendly & funny, also many thanks to Cynthia (i am jealous of her ability to ski Lauberhorn course,i had difficulty walking some parts), for help & advice. Also DANKE to Dennise & Daniel and all restaurant staff. For sure one of two best hotels i have ever stayed in.Earlier review concerning poor food etc. is way off the mark. unbelievably innaccurate.

Room Tip: If budget allows choose Jungfrau view room.

We stayed 4 nights and had a pleasurable experience. The food was excellent and service excellent. The managers Denise and Daniel never stop working. They are as accommodating as possible with all the duties they perform. It was our first time to the area and a more formal concierge service to help plan activities would have been nice. Daniel tried to be helpful but he was so busy.there was plenty of help at the restaurant but they could use some more up front. I think many of their guests had been there many times before and probably needed little if any advice. Overall a very nice place to stay but you may want to do your own research on hiking before you get there

Room Tip: Mountain view worth money

After a wonderful week at Beausite Park, we know why the hotel earned Tripadvisor’s 2014 Certificate of Excellence, and why we heard a prominent merchant in Wengen call the proprietor “hotelier par excellence.” Frau Leeman, while supposedly retired, still comes in regularly and tackles a wide range of tasks, from reception to waiting tables, with total devotion and incredible energy. She has the perfect managers in Daniel and Denise, a genial couple who show that it is possible to be efficient and cordial at the same time. They work in harmony with an amazingly and pleasantly cosmopolitan team of people who, without exception, go out of their way to make the guests happy. The many personal touches make for a convivial atmosphere which pervades the entire hotel, particularly the dining room. This spirit will make us remember Park Beausite most fondly as one of the best hotels on our many travels. In addition, who could forget the comfortable accommodations, delicious meals, elegant setting, magnificent view, and ideal location (see photos)? No wonder that so many visitors return again and again!!

Room Tip: Note about wifi: no in-room, but in the comfortable lounge. Junior Suite with view and balcony well...

My friend and I are long-standing regulars at this elegant and peaceful hotel, which maintains the highest standards of Swiss hospitality. For the last couple of years it has been under new management, though remaining in the same tried and trusted ownership. The welcome is always warm and personal, and nothing is too much trouble for Daniel and Denise and their staff, who are impeccable in attending to the needs of each of their guests: on our most recent visit there were several new faces serving in the dining-room, all of whom were quietly efficient and charming despite being kept very busy. The food is very good indeed: several beautifully presented buffets each week, and an imaginative variety of dishes exquisitely served. Rooms are spotless and exceptionally well-appointed, those at the front having the best view in Wengen over what is surely one of the most dramatically beautiful mountain valleys in Europe. The hotel provides a splendid base for exploring the Jungfrau region by means of the integrated transport system that runs like the proverbial clockwork or -best of all - on foot.
What might be improved? Very little, but perhaps the bed linen (lighter, cooler duvets and cotton undersheets for the summer season?) and towels (many of which are thin and worn); and perhaps introduce some variety into the daily salad buffet?
