we ate at this restaurant on May.We liked the service and the restaurant itself , the set of pens nad paper that our son was offered until dinner was served to keep him occupied. The food though was nothing special and it was expensive as everything in Switzerland is!It was the only restaurant open at that time so we had no choice..

The Schoenegg restaurant was closed, so we opted for Da Sina, which is next door. The menu is quite varied, with fish and meat dishes as well as the pastas and pizzas. The wine list is limited. The restaurant is brisk and child-friendly and our evening was enjoyable, even if the food and wine were of a very ordinary standard, and the prices a bit higher than ordinary. The following night we ate at the Baeren, which was in a different class, on a par with the Schoenegg, and not much dearer.

We went there on 17th May at around 7 pm as it was the only place open. We were seated inside the restaurant by a young staff, then we ordered 2 drinks and French fries as starter. Within 5 mins we were asked to move to another table by the owner of this restaurant. That rude lady without giving any reason asked us to move towards the backside of the restaurant. We then changed our table and ordered a Pizza. That lady was still making faces and didn't apologize, so we got our pizza packed and had it in our hotel room. Pizza was pathetic and burnt.

We love this restaurant in Wengen. We have eaten here in 2011 and now in 2014 and the quality remains excellent. Take a left turn once you come out of Wengen station and walk past the Tourist Office/Manlicchen gondola and garden to your right, a little ahead is the pharmacy to your left, 2 mins walk from there is all that you need.

We went there for taking out our lunch day before yesterday. I ordered for the BUD pizza and a Penne Arrabiata. We decided to sit outdoors and wait for the food to be ready and packed. The owner asked me whether I would like a drink, so I ordered a Baccardi with cola. The food was ready within 15 minutes.

The pasta was piping hot and so was the pizza so despite a 8 minute walk to our chalet we could enjoy hot food. The pizza was classic Italian, thin crust, oven baked to perfection with ham, bacon, garlic et al. Yummmmy... The Penne Arrabiata was very good too, a tad bit spicy but we love it that way. The restaurant has a good bar as well, we have never eaten dinner there as both our visits were for lunch.

Certainly recommended for some great Italian food..

The time we arrived wengen is late (about 7pm). It is the only restaurant that still work. I would say thanks to it as if it didn't open, I would starve until next morning as coop was closed also. But the food there was bad. We ordered a fillet steak and pasta. The steak is raw at the centre for medium. The pasta is spicy and too oily. And the restaurant seems hv manpower shortage problem. The waiter cannot cater the customers well. We need to wait for seating, menu and bills.
