One of us is Thai, so very critical of Thai restaurants that are in any way substandard. We chose the gourmet selection for two. Our chicken sate starter was tough and the sauce bland. The generous portion of prawns in our tom yam was succulent, but the soup was less tasty that we had hoped. Our green curry was OK, but a little too sweet and not spicy enough for our taste. The beef dish, however, was perfect, with delicious, tender beef, and a very tasty sauce. The rice was also cooked perfectly.
Regettably, the service was slow, each course coming after long gaps, even though we had requested that all the dishes should arrive together. Thus, we had to leave and never did sample our desserts, which should have been included as part of the 'package'.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
We would eat there again, but would insist on dishes arriving together rather than intermittently.
