This restaurant was recommended by our hosts as they always go with the family on New Years Eve and it proved to be a good choice. We had a set "2 course" meal rather than the 3 course and this was wise because 2 courses turned out to 4. We skipped the anti pasta buffet but were served a very good dumpling soup and then a large plate of roast lamb and pork with rosti. This was odd because the menu had said "3 roast meats" but we worked our way through the fairly large meal only to be presented with an equally large plate of roast beef with another (different) rosti. We had wondered why a large number of people were still in the restaurant after finishing their meals earlier but we were informed that they were waiting for the dessert buffet which (in Swiss fashion) you were not permitted to have until 10:30pm. Given what we had eaten, this was not a serious concern for us. The buffet was excellent with a huge choice and is obviously one of the restaurants attractions. All in all it was a good, if not outstanding meal and the service relatively slow which, again, we didn't mind. I can understand some of the criticism but we found the food competent, the staff very friendly and helpful and the bottle of Schnapps left on the table for you to sample (no charge) while waiting for your bill, a nice touch

Nice restaurant, located on the main Boulevard, with a magnificent view to the snowy peaks. Restaurant with a large dining garden and a boulevard cafe. Wide selection of dishes, all of them professionally prepared and served. The quality of the service at the table is varying, depending on the waiter/waitress.
Various newspapers and magazines are ready to be read. I've been there a few times: Bright, hospitable place, for all types of guests attractive, whether to have a drink, a quick lunch or a banquet.

Completely average tourist restaurant (which appears to be Interlaken's specialty). Decent pizza, high prices, uninspiring decor. Nothing special, nothing terrible.

Very overpriced restaurant serving awful pizzas

Even though we ordered a full meal and wine they charged us for tap water - which I think is disgusting behaviour

They deserve to go out of business but rely on tourists using them only once

We ate at this hotel on the recommendation by our Hotel Receptionist when I expressed a wish to sample once again an authentic Swiss Rosti. We were not disappointed! I had a Rosti Des Alpes which had a Fried Egg on top. My wife was pleased that she could have a Half Portion and chose a Schweizer Rosti. To be honest, the Half Portion would have been ample for me and I guess for most people! These were washed down with a bottle of Swiss Wine, Coteau de Vincy. To follow we shared a Schoggimousse Dessert. We both agreed that the food and wine were both delicious. The cost of SF86.20 was in our opinion very reasonable. The staff were very friendly especially Benson who told us about he he came to Switzerland from Kenya and a young lady with fair hair, with whom I discussed magic wine bottles!

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
