Description: You will certainly feel at home in our restaurant and bar, the Brasserie17. This is the place in town, where people meet. Taste one of our 6 different beers on tap or enjoy our famous ribs & wings! Besides preparing good food and cool drinks we create a good atmosphere, where everybody feels at home. In the summer in our beautiful covered garden terrace and in winter at one of our live music evenings or live sports viewings.

“Good food; good beer.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2013

Eating out in Interlaken tends to be expensive by general European standards, so we were pleased to find a restaurant which served good food while not breaking the bank.
The salads were particularly good, both as a main course and an accompaniment, and portions were large. The roast beef platter is particularly to be recommended. The array of local draught beers is another unusual attraction: a tasty light lager, an unusual stronger dark beer, and a naturally cloudy speciality called "Zwickelbier". The atmosphere is young (unlike us, alas!) and cheery, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. We would certainly recommend the Brasserie 17 to anyone visiting Interlaken.

“Little Gem!”

We were recommended this restaurant on the strength of it having a great laid back atmosphere. Well the recommendation hit the nail on the head.

Great little restaurant with a lively atmosphere and yummy american style food.

“Good food and friendly atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

We ate at Brasserie 17 last May and enjoyed the atmosphere and food, so we returned there again on our trip this year. We like that it is off of the main tourist area, so it is supported by a nice mix of tourists and locals.

Our servers were very friendly and joking with us. They have a smaller but varied menu, (pub food, nothing too fancy), and reasonable prices for Interlaken.

Suggest trying the small cheese fondue as a shared appetizer. Yum!

“Small doubts about it been classified as the 5th best restaurant in Interlaken”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 28, 2013

I was feeling like Swiss food, preferably some roesti with cheese and sausages. Checking on comment on Trip Advisor I abandonned the idea of visiting "Les Alpes" since apparently the service is invertly proportional to the prices. So my option went to Brasserie 17. Well, the service is indeed pleasant and two British expatriates do their best to help and serve you and they do succeed. The food is nothing to write home about, not even to complain. But if this is the 5th best restaurant in Interlaken then this lovely city and tourism destination does have a problem.

“Best place we ate in Interlaken”

This was a good fun pub and restaurant. Good live music and food. Of all the restaurants we went to in Interlaken this was my favourite.
