The normal route up the Willsgratli is very loose above the short glacier. Try to move over onto the Willsgratli Ridge as soon as you can to avoid the worst of it. The ridge is fairly good scrambling. The snow slope on the other side gets very soft early in the day and can be a bit slippy so be careful. Its a bit loose above that too. Not the best route and certainly doesn't live up to the Alpine Club guide book description. The photo is from the Monchjoch Hut to show where to cross over to the ridge. It makes the route look impossible. It isn't. In fact, it's quite easy.
