“Best Hotel in Gstaad”
Reviewed April 10, 2011

We´ve been coming to Gstaad for many years, the last 5 with children. The Park was not always our preferred hotel but since the renovation this is certainly by far the best hotel in Gstaad. The rooms are beautiful and modern but have not lost the "chalet" charm one would expect in an alpine resort. The Spa with its salt water pool is fabulous, too. Wonderful restaurants. However, the service is what will bring us back: attentive, personable, with style and charm. Thank you for taking such good care of us !

Warm welcome, very spacious and quiet rooms with great view on the mountains, very nice fitness & spa facilities, and excellent Aromatherapy massage. Delicious breakfast buffet and very attentive service.

Excellent welcome, service, condition of the room. The hotel was recently renovated. Everything is of very high quality and value. Breakfast is generous and high quality. We were very much spoiled. Basically just like a 5 stars needs to be.

I had the pleasure to stay at The Grand Hotel Park on December 30th 2010, and spend the New Years in beautiful Gstaad . I found the Hotel to be absoluting gorgeous, as It has just been renovated. we stayed in a room that made me think of a private little chalet in the mountains! the interior was tasteful, modern, yet had that alpine design feel.

I found the service to be really genuine and the staff professional. The maitre'd , who happened to be Italian , was very warm and welcoming, he explained everything to us about the hotel, the menus and best places to Ski etc, as we had many questions!

There were a few different dining areas within the hotel, with diverse and gourmet menus....great Fusion, sushi, and also traditiaonal dishes.

We had an incredible meal the first night, I ordered the Steak
( and it was probably the most incredible steak i've ever had to date!) My wife had a risotto, and we were in heaven!

The meats were all local, and I found the products were of the highest quality.

I had a facial and massage in the Spa which was really amazing, a kind Japanese girl gave the treatment, and i found her very professional.
was the atmosphere was very relaxing, with an area to have tea and after the treatment.

I hope this review helps paint a picture of the Hotel, I've stayed in other hotels in this area in the years, but in my personal opinion this one really impressed us on so many levels.
will return!

I have stayed at many high-end hotels and resorts all over the world over the years and this is the only one, maybe with the exception of Palazzo Sasso in Ravello, that has got me to bother spending the time it takes to write this review. I was a guest the first day it opened after a 9 month rennovation. The room I had was awesome - Id say overall the nicest hotel room Ive stayed in, the food was great, service top notch and the massage I had in the SPA (ask for Luara) was simply incredible! What sets this place apart (like the other best hotels you have stayed in) is the quality and consistency of the service. My only regret is that I didnt stay longer...if you are going to Gstaad I would highly recommend this place.

The park has fantastic location and amazing service. Actually the service is by far one of the very best in the world and not only in precision and professionalism but also on being very personal. Top marks for service. The food is superb too. It falls a little short as it feels a little dated and it is overpriced (although that is the genenral feeling I got for the whole of gstaad). Overall I recommend it !
