This is a place to finish the evening after you´ve eaten and the sun has set. It´s an Irish pub, but different from those chains that you might know (and who I won´t name): The bar server was happy to chat on this quiet Monday evening, and to make some recommendations about what he would drink.
Normally, this place would be full of ex-pats, and is a gathering place (apparently) for the English-speaking community who watch the sport on TV (just like in those other Irish pubs), but last night it was kind of calm and laid-back.
A word of warning: This also seems to be a place for the local teens and twens to come after dark and to get seriously smashed, But since they stayed outside, and we inside, there was nothing to complain about.
