A remnant of the glacial passage through this area of the Jura mountains, this funnel-like rock formation is known locally as an "emposieu" and serves as a water run-off. What is marvelous is the sheer size of the structure and color of the rocks, that tell a history of what took place over the years. Simply breath-taking, but to get there, put on your walking boots to go by the mountain trail and dress appropriately.
