We were weathered in while staying at the hotel and so ate there. We were not disappointed. Our waitress was a delightful young lady who spoke fluent English, High German, French and the local local Swiss dialect. The menu had lots of regional specialties and haute cuisine menu items. We each chose the schnitzel. The welcoming treat from the kitchen was one of the most innovative and tasty we have had anywhere. My wife's large schnitzel was perfectly done. Mine was slightly larger, because mine was pounded thinner than hers. As a result, hers was perfectly done, but half of mine was overcooked, while the other half was perfect. An oversight, yes. I pointed it out to the waitress. She immediately spoke to the chef. He came to the table and apologized. So did the head waiter. The head waiter offered to remove it from the bill or make another schnitzel. This is a restaurant that truly puts the customer first. Every detail of the food, setting and service was done carefully and with the customer in mind. Mistakes happen to humans. How rare was the reaction! How wonderful!
