This very nice coffee bar is a hidden secret in Luzern. It is located between two historic buildings - the wooden built Spreuer bridge on the left and the Museum of History to the right. It is part of this very impressing, more than 400 years old historic part of Luzern. There is a charming terrace in front of the bar where you can enjoy the sun...
The folks at Cafe-Bar-Lokal really like their coffee. Great espresso, very nice cappuccino and caffe latte. If you would go for a tea I can recommend the chai latte with honey or the mint tea made with fresh mint leaves (either hod or ice cooled).
And they really like their food too. They clearly have fun with it. Breakfast and Sweets are home made - I'm sure you will love the great taste of a freshly baked cake.
The lunch specials are always great. Home made with fresh salades, vegetables and condiments. Soups, pasta, some with meat some without. Mostly mediterranean or Swiss style.
Local bear, some nice wines, prosecco and drinks can give you a relaxing end of the day.
Everything is served with a very friendly vibe with great hospitality.
I can recommend this very much. A really good setup, a relaxed atmosphere and a great way to pass my time.
