The view of the lake could not be better, the beer was cold and foamy, the service was terrific. We had a fondue for three and it was just right. Highly recommended

“Nice location, optimization potential in food quality and service.”
Reviewed August 3, 2013 via mobile

Positive: dining in an old boot with a marvelous view on the lake is really relaxing
Negative: we had to get the menu ourselves because the waiters were to busy, food was poorly decorated and of low quality only the tom kha gai soup was good, the waiters lack interest in customer satisfaction and prices are far to high for what is offered... the only thing worth remembering was the view!

“Spendid food, Atmosphere and service”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

My wife and I were recommended this restaurant by a member of our hotel reception staff, and what a good recommendation it was too. The food and service was excellent and though it was a little pricey we enjoyed it so much this didn't seem to matter. The restaurant is actually a boat moored at the lakeside of the city in one of the more exclusive areas - shops opposite being "Hermes" and "Cartier" to name only 2 - A lovely setting and great for a romantiv meal if that's what you are looking for. Menus are printed in a variety of languages and the waitress (Gaby) spoke to everyone in the language of their choice - we were well impressed! A definite recommendation fromboth of us.

“Appalling service”
Reviewed September 9, 2012 via mobile

Just arrived in Lucerne, very relaxed after a boat tour of the Lake and decided to lunch here. We sat and waited....then the waitress arrived after 15 mins and we asked for the menu ( what else could we have asked for?), and we waited and waited and finally had to asked her to take our order. Then we asked for the wine list and we waited..... then we asked her again to take our wine order and she huffed! What else is she there for? Finally the main course arrived but still no wine and I wanted salt, so I asked for it but she dashed off so fast deliberately, I got up and searched around, she asked what I wanted and huffed! Still no wine after food had been placed after 10 mins. We decided the view was so great, we'll wait and see how long after clearing our plates would it take to ask us if we wanted dessert, half an hour passed, and we had to ask for dessert menu! When dessert came, we ate it and waited 45mins and still no waitress, who to our sheer amusement , kept looking the other way when passing us so that we couldn't get her attention! Still, we enjoyed the view! Finally, we decided to have coffee elsewhere and ask for the bill! Strange, when it came, twice she pointed to adding tip! Now, my husband always complains as I am overly generous paying between 20-25% for service! Not this time, I didn't want to leave a penny but left 7.5% as I am not mean but really, she didn't deserve it. Have a coffee here but but don't bother with a meal, SERVICE IS APPALLING!
